GENERAL: The Contractor shall provide the following services for the HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGY MGMT SVC department at Bay Pines VA Healthcare facility, Bay Pines FL. 33744. BACKGROUND: The HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGY MGMT SVC department request the technical services of OEM authorized technicians and maintenance personal to perform system updates, hardware system coverage, replace EPM certified parts, and provide 24/7 or as needed technical support/VirtualCare remote support on the equipment list below. a) Medrad® Intego PET Infusion System, SN#100006 b) Medrad® MRXperion MR Injection System, SN#300417 and SN#300154 PURPOSE: Contractor is required to provide labor, transportation, supervision, and parts to repair the highly technical medical equipment listed above. This continuous service is required to return the system(s) mentioned above to full operating condition, per manufacture s specifications. SERVICES AND PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: All work should be done during Normal business Hours M-F. 7a.m. 4:30p.m. Except for certain locations of cabling activities. Coordination with Bayer/Customer on all overtime scheduling must be done well in advance to ensure the proper VA resources are on site afterhours. Government will provide any needed escorts for work to be conducted in MDF or IDF locations All Contractor installation equipment and materials can be stored on site in the main hospital and storage location may be used as Contractor staging area during the project. Contractor responsible for cleaning up trash or refuse on daily basis to maintain clean work environment Upon completion of each workday and at the end of the project, the Contractor will remove and stow all project associated materials and tools, dispose of all refuse, and ensure work areas are clean. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, waste disposal, and parking costs necessary in the performance and completion of the work describe in this SOW except where specifically noted to be provided by Bayer or the hospital Contractor warrants that all materials provided in this installation will be new Bayer will not accept used or reconditioned equipment. Contractor to troubleshoot any defective Bayer hardware with Bayer Helpdesk and/or technical service representative and if any equipment cannot be restored after the necessary steps are taken then a post-It note should be put on the defective equipment and segregated from the good stock and the Contractor should notify Bayer Project manager and Bayer Technical services lead.
