The Department of Veterans Affairs, West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System (WPBVAHCS) located at 7305 North Military Trail West Palm Beach, FL 33410, intends to solicit a request for quote (RFQ) from contractors for Locum Tenens Services, Infectious Diseases Physicians, which requires the services of at least two (2) privileged Infectious Diseases Physicians to cover Inpatient and outpatient care (alternately) for forty (40) hours per week on-site located at West Palm Beach VA Healthcare System. The services shall be in support of eligible beneficiaries of the WPBVAHCS under Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), contract type. The authority for this procurement is Title 38 USC 8153, Health Care Resources (HCR) sharing Authority, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 8.4, Federal Supply Schedules. The VA anticipates issuing a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside solicitation for this requirement on or about September 22, 2022. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation, attachments, and any subsequent amendments from this website. No hard copies will be made available. Period of Performance: The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be from 10-14-2022 through 04-13-2023 for the six (6) months. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the responses to the RFQ submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under the applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) Code. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the SAM database and have an active contract of the Federal Supply Schedules (FSS). Registration in SAM is free and potential Offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website as no contract can be awarded to any Offeror not registered in SAM.gov.
