Before placement and installation of work subject to tests by testing laboratory retained by Department of Veterans Affairs, the Contractor shall notify the COR in sufficient time to enable testing laboratory personnel to be present at the site in time for proper taking and testing of specimens and field inspection. Such prior notice shall be not less than 15 workdays unless otherwise designated by the COR. All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply with VA security management program and obtain permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access. All contractor activities shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable reference material on VA s Office of Construction and Facilities Management Technical Information Library (TIL). The Contractor shall conform to all applicable codes and regulations including but not limited to: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), The International Building Code, State and Federal Regulations, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Life Safety code. Delivery of completed construction elements is required within 232 calendar days after the notice to proceed is issued.
