The Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) is seeking professional design-build services to design and construction for the entitled: “Add Power and Data Connections to Screening Structures, Project 675-22-807” located at Lake Baldwin Outpatient Clinic (OPC), 5201 Raymond St., Orlando, FL 32803. Contractor shall provide all design-build services including labor, materials, tools, and equipment as necessary to construct the project described below and other specific tasks as further defined by this Request for Proposal (RFP). This project will provide new and necessary permanent electrical power feed for the COVID-19 visitor screening station trailer and covered screening structures currently located in Parking lot K. Currently, station has no power. VA is providing power by running gas portable generators on site. The project shall also address power requirements inside the SPS soiled room 1716 laboratory. Selected contractor shall also be responsible to update civil/electrical drawings to reflect their electrical and data runs through the Lake Baldwin Campus from the point of grid tie-in to the trailer and covered screening structures. Electrical installation will be run underground from point of tie-in to new 100-amp panels next to the trailer and next to the cover structures. Contractor will ensure all aspects of the new electrical installation meets all applicable codes and regulations.
