The solicitation will be posted on or about 1/3/2022, via Opportunities website. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-01 dated 12/06/2021. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8 Orlando Veterans Affairs Health Care System has the need for an Indefinite Delivery contract for Home Oxygen Services for eligible Veteran beneficiaries in San Juan, Puerto including municipalities Vieques and Culebra as well as Virgin Islands St. Thomas and St. Croix. NCO 8 is reassessing the area for potential vendors. The Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, equipment, and personnel necessary for patients requiring home oxygen services. Contractor shall train, educate, and monitor patients, as well as complete assessments of the beneficiary s home and environment. Contractor must also meet the following requirements at the time of solicitation: Shall have a facility in Puerto Rico and resources or subcontractor in St. Thomas, St. John and St.Croix Vieques & Culebra from which they provide service for the past three (3) years Shall have resources or subcontractor in St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix Vieques & Culebra from which they shall provide service staff must have at least three (3) years of experience with Puerto Rico Geographical Areas Contractor is subject to Joint Commission and/or VA inspections The performance period for this contract will be one year plus four option years.
