Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to provide Pyxis Full-Service Contract for Maintenance and Software Support for the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center (OVAMC) located at 13800 Veterans Way Orlando, FL 32827. This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, and the small business size standard is $22,000,000.00 is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Pyxis Full-Service Contract for Maintenance and Software Support. Capability statements shall include the following business information: SAM UEI Organization Name Organization Address Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) Business size for NAICS: 811219 Socio-economic status (e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, WO, etc.) Narrative that addresses the organization s qualification and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Pyxis Full-Service Contract for Maintenance and Software Support. The contractor shall provide scheduled maintenance, repairs, and other support necessary to keep the Pyxis Products performing in accordance with the material specifications of the applicable User Guide. Services will include all preventative and corrective maintenance as required, OEM only support, and expedited field service response. This service requires specialized training and safety equipment that our in-house technicians are not trained for. The service is to take place in the Pharmacy service at the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) Lake Nona Medical Center and all OVAHCS Health Clinics. g.
