In an effort to provide exemplary care and meet transportation requirements, the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) seeks a contractor(s) to provide all ground non-emergency, Advance Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance services for beneficiaries of the Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC), and its associated healthcare facilities. The Contractor shall provide all transport vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, transportation, fuel, equipment, reports, and anything else necessary to successfully furnish service. The contractor s responsibility shall cover non-emergency ground transportation services by ambulance in designated counties within the OVAMC catchment area: Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Brevard, Volusia, and Lake County. ALS/BLS transportation may be required to be provided to Veterans that live in the adjacent counties that border the six identified counties identified under the OVAMC catchment area.
