The VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) at San Juan, Puerto Rico has a requirement for the Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Repair of Re-usable Medical Devices (RMD). These services will be performed at the VACHS main facility in San Juan, as well as the VA s Ponce Outpatient Clinic (POPC), and Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic (MOPC). The contractor shall provide all sharpening, adjusting, aligning, straightening, refurbishing, calibrating, testing, cleaning, extensive stain removal, polishing, lubricating, adjusting, chemical etching, and parts replacement necessary to perform the PM and repairs of RMD at the VACHS, which consists of various individual surgical instruments sets and procedural instrument trays. Equipment to be serviced under this contract includes surgical instruments, laparoscopic instruments, pneumatic instruments, electric/battery (cordless) instruments, fiber optic light cables/cords, cameras, surgical instrument containers, and push carts North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement will be 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance), and the Product Service Code (PSC) will be J065 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This is not a solicitation.
