The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is seeking capability statements specifically from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), as well as any other small business construction contractors for the purpose of determining if adequate competition exists to set aside a requirement to Install New Gas Meter and Gas Pipeline to Laundry Service at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. The Government reserves the right to consider a SDVOSB, VOSB, or any other small business set aside based on the responses hereto. Project Overview: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, West Palm Beach VA Medical Center has a requirement to provide construction services to Install New Gas Meter and Gas Pipeline to Laundry Service. This requirement may be fulfilled by awarding a stand-alone contract for the construction of this project. It will use the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $16.5M. As part of its market research, The Network Contracting Office (NCO8) is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified and interested Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), or any other small business construction contractors capable of performing the above work.
