NPR120 Dental Sealed PCs STATEMENT OF NEED Dental Sealed PCs GENERAL: The dental department at the newly constructed New Port Richey CBOC has a requirement for all-in-one PCs and monitors being installed on dual-mount-arms in the dental treatment rooms (DTRs). This is a brand name or equal request. BACKGROUND: The dental department must use a different type of computer than the rest of the New Port Richey VA CBOC due to the requirement to have all-in-one sealed PCs and monitors rather than a traditional PC and dual monitors. There are nine (9) dental treatment rooms at the New Port Richey CBOC and each room will receive two (2) all-in-one (AiO) PCs and two (2) monitors. SCOPE: The proposed AiO PCs and monitors must not have a combined weight of over 36 lbs for a solution of one AiO PC and one monitor per wall-mounted dual monitor mount. Due to planning of the monitor arms and the requirement for the AiO PCs to receive a VA Gold Image, this is a brand name or equal procurement to Cybernet.
