Page 1 of 1 Synopsis This is a pre-solicitation announcement for the Department of Veterans Affairs, West Palm Beach, VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33410-6400. A Request for Proposal will be issued on the Federal Business Opportunities-FBO-SAM website on or about August 1, 2022, for all labor, materials, storage of materials, tools, parts, equipment, programming, testing, reports, travel, and supervision required for the purchase, and replacement, and programming of Siemens fire alarm detection devices at the Medical Center. The VAMC West Palm Beach campus is comprised of 988,178 sq ft. The facility at 7305 North Military Trail consists of twenty-one (21) buildings which house patient care spaces, administrative offices, storage areas, and multi-level parking structures. The contractor shall purchase, replace and program no more than 651 Siemens addressable fire alarm detection devices. The detection devices which need to be purchased, replaced, and programmed are 567 FDOOT441 Siemens Addressable Multi-Criteria Smoke and Heat Detector and 84 FDT421 Siemens Addressable Heat Detectors. The performance period will consist of ninety days for completion after award is made. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and size standard is $22 million. The government intends to award a Firm Price Type contract in September 2022. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited electronic medium, and the VA will provide no hard copies. The solicitation, consisting of various proposal documents, statement of work, and forms, will only be available for download at no charge at the SAM-Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website https://fbohome.sam.gov/ tentatively on August 1, 2022, with a due date to be specified in the Solicitation. No other site shall be used to obtain these documents. All interested offerors should register at www.sam.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. An Offeror s List WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the offeror s responsibility to register at the SAM.Gov website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all proposal documents and acknowledge any amendments, and should revisit the FBO website periodically to check for any modifications to this notice, updates, or amendments without further notice from the VA. Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications shall be registered in the System for Award Management database at http:www.sam.govm shall be verified in the Vetbiz Registry Information Pages at http://www.vetbiz.gov/ prior to submitting an offer, and shall have completed the VETS 100A report at http://www.dol.gov/vets/programs/vets-100.html (if applicable).
