It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposal or quotes and does not obligate the Government toward a contract. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification to include LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS AS WELL AS THE FOLLOWING: (Service Disabled owned, Veteran owned small business, Hub Zone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, women owned, small) relative to 561720, Janitorial Services (business size standard $19.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in Beta.SAM.gov, also known as Contract Opportunities. Responses to this Sources Sought synopsis are NOT considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in order to be considered. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), is seeking sources to provide Janitorial / Custodial Service. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided) and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective performance to provide complete Hospital Aseptic Management System (HAMS) services and biomedical waste removal as described herein. Contractor shall be required to provide janitorial and related services. Best commercial practices shall be applied in the performance of work. All work shall be completed per approved and accepted industry standards throughout the duration of the contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, supplies, and equipment at the following locations: Lecanto Veterans Outpatient Clinic, 2804 West Marc Knighton Court, Suite A9. Lecanto, FL 34461 Approximate area: 15,000 sq ft Psychosocial Rehabilitation Recovery Center (PRRC),14517 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33613 Approximate area: 8,883 sq ft If you are interested, and can provide the required services, please provide the requested information as indicated below.
