Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to provide Part-Time Musician services for the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center (OVAMC) located at 13800 Veterans Way Orlando, FL 32827. This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 711130 Musical Groups and Artists, and the small business size standard is $12,000,000.00 is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Part-Time Musician. Capability statements shall include the following business information: DUNS number Organization Name Organization Address Point of Contact (including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) Business size for NAICS: 711130 Socio-economic status (e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, WO, etc.) Narrative that addresses the organization s qualification and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Part-Time Musician. The contractor shall provide music and instrumental support for liturgical music to include but not limited to Piano (to be provided by the VA), harp, violin, etc. for Church Services, Memorial Services, other special services. The musician will play harp and other musical instruments on medical wards to calm patients and support spiritual well-being and promote the healing process.
