Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice Page 4 of 4 Sources Sought Notice *= Required Field Sources Sought Notice Page 1 of 4 This announcement is to seek qualified manufacturers and/or authorized distributors of Cost Per Test (CPT) for Automated Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) Instrumentation. Includes rental and service equipment; reagent cost-per tests; calibrators; consumables and controls are necessary to ensure the continuity of operations of essential cost per test patient testing results currently being performed at the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS), Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service in Orlando, FL and surrounding outpatient clinics. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing (Small Business Size Standard: 1,000 employees). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice is not considered to the solicitation announcement. The government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS) has the need for a BASE plus twelve months and four twelve months Option that all Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate instrumentation reagents, standards, quality controls, supplies, consumable/disposable items, parts, accessories and any other item required for the proper operation of the Contractor s equipment and necessary for the generation and reporting of a test result with equipment preventative maintenance and repair services. The Instrumentation will be located at the following VA stations: Orlando VA Healthcare System at Orlando VAMC, Daytona Beach VAOPC and Viera VAOPC.
