The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is issuing this synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide annual load bank testing and fuel analysis, semi-annual inspections, preventive maintenance & repair (as needed), and battery replacement services performed on Emergency Power Supply Systems (EPSS) at multiple VA sites: Lake Nona (LKNA), 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827, Building 7, Central Energy Plant Lake Baldwin (LKBW), 5201 Raymond St, Orlando, FL 32803, Building 502, Central Energy Plant Lakemont Campus (LKMT), 2500 S. Lakemont Ave, Orlando, FL 32814 Viera Community Based Outpatient Clinic, 2900 Veterans Way, Viera, FL 32940 The contractor shall have the technology and know-how to efficiently and effectively perform services. The services provided shall meet or exceed minimum requirements set forth by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 110 (levels 1 and 2), The Joint Commission (TJC), manufacturer recommendations, and as outline in the PWS. As mandated by the Joint Commission, electric power is identified as a mission-critical resource. Facilitates must have seamless access to emergency generators in the event of utility failure or catastrophic events.
