Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with John Bean Technologies (JBT) Corporation of Chalfont, PA, to provide a ProCare Support agreement for the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) System at the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona. The support agreement includes 24/7/365 Phone/VPN support and on-site visits to provide system optimization, maintenance / training. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 13.106-1, only one responsible source reasonably available to satisfy the agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 561990 All Other Support Service with a small business size standard of $14,500,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using products and services to maintain JBT AGV System, to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements, show experience providing services to JBT AGV System, have access to Original Manufacturer Equipment (OEM) parts, software, and programming capabilities. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with JBT Corporation.
