This announcement is to seek qualified manufacturers and/or authorized distributors of Clinical Chemistry, Immunochemistry and Pre-Analytic Analyzers and Reagents on a Cost Per Tests. Rental and service equipment; reagent cost-per tests; calibrators; consumables and controls are necessary to ensure the continuity of operations of essential cost per test patient testing results currently being performed at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System, Pathology and Medical Laboratory Services (PMLS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico and surrounding outpatient clinics. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing (Small Business Size Standard: 1,000 employees). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice is not considered to the solicitation announcement. The government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) has the need for a BASE plus twelve months and four twelve months Option that Chemistry and Immunochemistry instruments with backup server and Chemistry and immunochemistry analyzers, reagents, controls, calibrators, consumables, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and extended service. The analyzers will be located at the following VA stations: VA Caribbean Healthcare System at San Juan, PR, Ponce Outpatient Clinic, and Mayaquez Outpatient Clinic.
