STATEMENT OF NEED NPR082 Pharmacy Dispenser Refrigerators GENERAL: The newly constructed leased consolidation project at New Port Richey Community Based Outpatient Clinic (NPR CBOC) at 7900 Little Road, New Port Richey, FL 34654-3419. The facility is combining and expanding its services. BACKGROUND: The NPR CBOC is expanding services in the new facility and has requirements for new pharmacy dispenser equipment. The procurement of the equipment listed below is required for the expansion to provide the same level of care as existing VA clinics. SCOPE: The pharmacy dispenser refrigerators will be utilized in the primary care clinics, pharmacy, and mental health clinics for routine storage and dispensing of medications completed by the NPR CBOC and local providers. This is a brand name only solicitation due to the current BD Pyxis server in place at the facility. This ensures continuity of care enterprise wide, no need to stock consumable supplies that are not currently being used. Since the Pyxis devices will be an upgrade for the clinical and biomedical staff, user and maintenance training will be required.
