WEST PALM BEACH VA MEDICAL CENTER (WPBVAMC) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation amendment for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24822Q0982. Submit written quotes in accordance with Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors. Oral quotes will not be accepted. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC-2021-05 / 03-10-2021. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 811213, Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Size Standard of $12 Million. West Palm Beach VA Medical Center intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a Motorola Radio Maintenance. This procurement is based on a tiered evaluation, Set-Asides and all eligible quoters are encouraged to submit quotes. To be eligible for award quoter must be Verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) and be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of the close of the RFQ and at the time of award. Quote shall be valid 90 days from the close of this solicitation. Questions are due No Later Than Friday June 10, 2022, at 12:00 PM ET. Only email questions will be excepted. "On Site Repairs" - Can the VA provide a detailed list of Motorola infrastructure expected to be included in the maintenance contract? This will require a walkthrough. Four-hour response time for system outage "Camera Cleaning and optimization/testing" - Can the VA provide a detailed list of required camera equipment including part numbers? In addition, are the cameras accessible from ground level? Please provide a camera site diagram and let us know if any of the cameras require a ladder or bucket truck to access. Cameras are no longer needed for this contract. They were tied to another contract that was being processed and since then has been removed from this SOW (attached). "Spare radios/Cameras to keep in inventory" - Can the VA provide information on how many spares they would need in a cache based on the serial numbers provided in the previous questions? Five spare radios on hand for immediate replacement if needed. "Quarterly on site for repeater and antenna system with combiners, duplexers, cabling, etc." - Again can the VA provide a detailed list of Motorola infrastructure expected to be included in the maintenance contract? This will require a walkthrough. No. West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center 7305 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 561-422-8262 Statement of Work Material and Services For Radio Maintenance Agreement Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, delivery, storage and supervision for the following: Quantity Model Description 1 year Maintenance agreement for 250 Motorola radios and infrastructure equipment 2. Work includes, but is not limited to: Summary of Contract Requirements Quarterly Radio Inspections on all Radios Quarterly Cleaning and Testing Part replacement/radio under warranty replacement (250 radios) On site repairs Extended warranty repairs VIP turnaround time on demand call for emergency situations Camera cleaning and optimization/testing Spare radio/cameras to keep in inventory for fast turnaround/replacements Support on approximately 250 Motorola radios 1 year term Trip charges included Quarterly on site for repeater and antenna system with combiners, duplexers, cabling, etc. Quality Control Contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean environment while working on site. All transfer of equipment shall be properly documented and accounted for through the facilities logistics processes. All codes shall be strictly adhered to and maintained throughout the entirety of the project.
