Sources Sought Notice Page 4 of 4 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is issuing this synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to provide Roman Catholic Priest services for the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS). SCOPE: The contractor shall provide Catholic specific religious, spiritual, moral, and ethical counsel, training, and ritual individually or in group settings while ministering to Veterans and their families. Contractor shall be a Roman Catholic Priest who can provide: Daily Mass, Weekend Mass, or other Catholic Worship for Catholic Veterans and their families on a fill-in basis at VA facilities throughout central Florida. call-back Catholic Priest Services for Catholic Veterans needing Catholic specific religious ritual, sacrament, or training after normal duty hours or when the VA Catholic Chaplain is not available. (Priest will receive notification from the Chaplain Service Chief, Chaplain On-Call, Orlando VAMC switchboard, or Nursing Unit and responds appropriately when assigned.) provide documentation of services provided to the Office of the Chief Chaplin Service for entry into the patient s record.
