This is a Request for Information for project 516-21-113 Install Security Fencing for Parking Garage in Building 109. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by drawings and specifications. The Contractor shall provide a chain link construction fence, 2.1m (seven feet) minimum height, around the construction area indicated on the drawings. Provide gates as required for access with necessary hardware, including hasps and padlocks. Fasten fence fabric to terminal posts with tension bands and to line posts and top and bottom rails with tie wires spaced at maximum 375mm (15 inches). Bottom of fences shall extend to 25mm (one inch) above grade. The Draft SOW describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final SOW included in any Request for Quotations (RFQ). All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply with VA security management program and obtain permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access.
