THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research pursuant to FAR Part 10 to determine if sources are capable of satisfying our agency needs by a type of service customarily available in the commercial marketplace. NCO 8 is issuing this notice to determine sources who are capable of providing Physical Security Systems Inspection and Maintenance services to include the electronic Physical Access Control Systems (ePACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Lynx Notification Systems (LNS) and the Close Circuit Television Systems (CCTVs). The place of performance is the Orlando VA Healthcare System (Multiple Facilities). This notice is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, therefore it shall not be construed as a commitment by NCO 8 to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict NCO 8 to an acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary. the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. NCO 8 is requesting that restrictive or proprietary markings not be used in response to this notice. The anticipated Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561621 - Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) is $22.0 million. This is not a request for quotations, proposals or bids. Interested parties must be able to submit clear and convincing documentation on ATTACHMENT A demonstrating their capabilities to provide Inspection and Maintenance services for the Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) Interested parties must submit their response to rohan.mckenzie@va.gov no later than 16:00 EST on December 24, 2021.
