(revised response from A00001) The suspended maintenance & rooftop fall protection anchorage system was last certified 09/04/2018. No annual inspections of the suspended maintenance & rooftop fall protection anchorage system have been performed since the certification in September 2018. Contractors will be required to provide their own fall protection system. Q46. Do the parking garage floors require hot pressure wash? A44. Yes. This will be incorporated into the PWS for the pressure washing of the garage floors. The Contractor will pretreat (Pretreat will be required for any stains bigger than 2 x 2 ) all floors with a biodegradable cleaner and pressure wash the area with a pressure cleaner capable of producing a minimum of 220-degree water. The Contractor will remove vehicle and Biologic stains which include but not limited to (Oil, fluids, dirt, food and build) Contractor will recover and filter the water with a water recovery system. Contractor is responsible for removing and disposing of all waste materials collected in accordance with federal, state and local regulations to include all disposal costs and fees. Q47. Will the Government consider discounts? A47. Yes. The Government will consider discount terms. For example, a discount for early payment (2%, Net 10 or 1%, Net20). Another example, in the event the Government completes annual inspections and maintains certification of the suspended maintenance & rooftop fall protection anchorage system making available for use by the contractor, the contractor may offer discounted pricing terms.
