General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, West Palm Beach VA Medical Center has a requirement for the design and replacement of eight air handling units (AHUs) that have reached the end of their useful life. This work involves design-build services necessary for designing, demolition, and constructing new air handling systems and mixing boxes, filter sections heating and cooling valves actuators, all dampers, and all pneumatic controls. Work will be performed at West Palm Beach, Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL. The NCO 8 anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to provide the design build services for the replacement of air handling units 9, 15, 17, 24, 28, 29, 34, and 39 at the West Palm Beach, Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 12, 2021.
