The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, located at 7305 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to release Solicitation 36C248-21-Q-0822 for the purchase of services where the contractor shall furnish all supervision, personnel, equipment, transportation, repair services and all other items necessary to provide collection, storage, removal, transport and disposal of regulated non-hazardous waste (General Solid Waste), comingled cardboard waste, construction debris, discarded furniture and landscape waste that is generated at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Florida. The contractor shall be authorized (franchised) to perform these services by the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Management Department throughout the effective period of this contract. The contractor shall provide the compactors and containers on an as-required basis and in the appropriate sizes to adequately serve the facility needs. Frequency of pickups of the compactor and containers shall be at the discretion of the VA Medical Center to ensure facility needs are met. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which is to be electronically issued, in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 on or about April 29, 2021. The close date will be on or about May 13, 2021.
