Page 2 of 2 Network Contracting Office 8 is seeking responsible sources to provide care and services to homeless veterans in Jacksonville, FL with the following primary Serious Mental illness (SMI) diagnosis: Psychotic disorders, Bipolar disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive disorders, major depression, other mood disorders, anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder. The services will be furnished to beneficiaries for who such care is specifically authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs, NFSG VA Healthcare System. The type of patients to be cared for under this contract will normally require care and services above the level of meals, room and board. Care will include, but not be limited to, a supervised, alcohol and drug free environment, active affiliation with Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) programs, supportive Social Service, structured and group activities, physical activities, and individual counseling as required (with special emphasis on vocational rehabilitation in collaboration with VA program sources). THIS NOTICE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES AND A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS Code 623220, (Residential Mental Health and Substance Abuse Facility) in Jacksonville, FL. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business, are encouraged to respond.
