The Department of Veterans Affairs, North Florida/ South Georgia located at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center Gainesville, FL has the need to upgrade all existing Welch Allyn Connex servers from Windows Server 2008 R2 to Windows server 2016 or greater as well as upgrading database servers to MSSQL 2016 or greater to comply with VA Information Security standards for continued use. NF/SG must upgrade the Connex software to a currently approved version listed in the VA TRM (Currently Version 2.30 or greater.) NF/SG requires network connection and licensing to support all Welch Allyn vital signs monitors sending of HL7 updates to CPRS. NF/SG VA Healthcare System will purchase all necessary software, licensing, and support subscriptions to provide patient vital signs gathering within the NF/SG Veterans Health System. NF/SG will provide the required virtual server environment as well as the networking environment required for the software upgrade and device connectivity.
