The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office-8 (NCO-8), in support of the Orlando, Tampa, & Bay Pines VA Healthcare Systems anticipates the award of a Fixed Price-Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, and are the lowest price technically acceptable. NCO-8 is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from potential offerors able to provide Prescription Eyeglasses with Optician Services as described within the Statement of Need (SON). Award will be made in the aggregate for all Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) offered. This procurement is to be set-aside 100% for SERVICE DISABLE VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSB concerns shall be rejected and shall receive no further consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 339115 Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing. To be considered a small business under this NAICS code the Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard must not exceed 1,000 Employees. The RFP solicitation will be issued on or about August 11, 2020.
