The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantage business, woman-owned, small business, or large business) relative to NACIS 611430 (size standard of $12 Million). Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice are not considered to the solicitation announcement. The government will not pay nor reimburse any costs of preparing this response. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, Orlando Veterans Affairs Healthcare System (OVAHCS), has a need to purchase Medical Education Services IAW the Salient Characteristics provided below SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Provide continuing Education courses for Physicians, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (in print, online narrative, video webinar, and audio podcast format) Offer American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accredited continuing education courses Trainings must meet Joint Commission requirements Include training for specialized nursing certifications such as CCRN, CMSRN, RN-BC, PCCN, etc. Provided pharmacy courses accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education Provide certification maintenance training for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics/nutrition, laboratory technicians/technologists, respiratory therapy, radiology technicians, paramedics, social workers, surgical technicians, audiology, health education, and radiology technicians, among some of the allied health professions. Offer inter-professional courses, which are certified for contact hours by the accrediting body of more than one professional organization. The intent is to find qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 611430. You must be an authorized distributor of the products for the items of your submittal. You will be required to provide proof of designation or official letter from the manufacturer. This will be have 1 Base year and 4 Options.
