The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, located at 7305 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to release Solicitation 36C-18-Q-9188 for the purchase of chemical treatment services that include chemicals, technical services, consulting, testing, and balancing of the systems for the open cooling tower system, closed chilled water system, hot water system, boiler feed, and condensate water system. The monthly water treatment program shall cost-effectively optimize equipment and piping life; minimize water and chemical use; maximize safety; minimize environmental impact; and minimize container handling and operator workload. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which is to be electronically issued, in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 on or about October 31, 2018. The close date will be on or about November 13, 2018. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
