The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08, San Juan, Puerto Rico has a requirement for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for upholstery repair and sanitation services. Such upholstery usually consists of, but is not limited to, the following: patient beds (for primary examination, not in-patient beds), waiting area or lounge area chairs, sofas, loveseats, among others. These services do not include medical equipment such as therapy seats, inpatient beds, gym equipment seats or mattresses. Repair services generally consist of the repairs of springs, existing upholstery adjustments, sew reinforcement, sand and paint of furniture wood surfaces, plastic or polyurethane components, and cushion re-filling. Sanitation services generally include upholstery cleaning, spot or stain removal, and stain repellent treatment. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement will be 811420 (Reupholstery and Furniture Repair), and the Product Service Code (PSC) will be J071 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Furniture). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This is not a solicitation.
