Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of qualified sources with the capability to provide electrical cable repair service for the East Garage medium voltage underground cable at the Orlando VA Medical Center (OVAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, Florida. This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors and the small business size standard is $16,500,000.00 is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability as a prime contractor to perform electrical cable repair services.
