Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to provide Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Support for the Sterrad Sterilization Units located at the Orlando VA Medical Center, Lake Nona, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando FL 32827. This is a sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Nothing stated in this communication by any Government Official shall be treated as direction or a request to the vendor for delivery or performance. Only the Contracting Officer has the legal authority to bind the U.S. Government. No awards will be made solely from the responses of this market research/sources sought synopsis. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 811219 and the small business size standard of $20,500,000.00 is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Support for all Sterrad Sterilization Units located at the Orlando VA Medical Center. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor for Sterrad Sterilization Services. Capability statements shall include the following business information: DUNS number, business name, and address. Point of Contact (Including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address) Business size for NAICS: 811219. Socio-economic status (e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB, Small Business, etc.) Narrative that addresses the organization s qualification and ability to perform as a prime contractor. Provide information regarding your ability to provide OEM repair parts. Provide evidence of qualified technicians capable of performing repairs & preventive maintenance services.
