SCOPE: This a five (5) year project with 1 (one) base and 4 (four) options period project will take into consideration the participation of 30-45 veterans enrolled per semester into Recovery and Rehabilitation Program of Behavioral Health Sciences: Homeless Program, Psychosocial Recovery and Rehabilitation Center, Compensated Work Therapy and Intensive Community Mental Health & Recovery. The time frame established to complete this service is one year, however it will be determined by the Veteran and the team, as necessary. Transition into other levels of services will be encouraged, taking into consideration veterans goals, objectives and preferences. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The services will include formal education of farming and modern techniques, peer support, community re-integration and vocational development. Contract Administration The contractor shall establish processes and assign appropriate resources to effectively administer the requirement. The contractor shall respond to Government requests for contractual actions in a timely fashion. The contractor shall have a single point of contact between the Government and Contractor personnel assigned to support contract. The contractor shall assign work effort and maintaining proper and accurate time keeping records of personnel assigned to work on the requirement. The minimum personnel qualification for contractions are as follows: 1. Bachelor s Degree in science - Agronomy and Horticulture 2. Certification in Controlled Environment Agriculture 3. EXPERIENCE developing agricultural projects and green houses. 4. Experience teaching agricultural techniques to various backgrounds of persons. DESCRIPTION: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT.
