The Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), Network Contracting Office 08, San Juan, Puerto Rico has a requirement for respirator monthly fit testing and training services for 1,800 employees (approximately 150 employees monthly) located at VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), including San Juan, POPC, MOPC and Utuado, Comerio, Arecibo, Guayama, Ceiba, Vieques, Saint Croix and Saint Thomas CBOCs. The VA anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement on or about February 04, 2020. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB s). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541690 and the size standard is $16.5 M. Period of performance for this acquisition will consist of a twelve (12) months Base Period, and four (4) twelve (12) months Option Periods. Solicitation and amendments will be available in electronic format ONLY. Once the solicitation is posted, interested vendors are responsible to review and monitor this website frequently to ensure that they have most up to date information about this acquisition. Quoters are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. This acquisition will be solicited, evaluated and awarded following the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13, and the evaluation criteria stated in the solicitation package. The Government intends to award a single firm fixed price type contract.
