Market Research is being conducted to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Woman Owned Small Business. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08, San Juan, Puerto Rico is trying to determine to set-aside an acquisition for respirator monthly fit testing and training services for 1,800 employees (approximately 150 employees monthly) located at VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), including San Juan, POPC, MOPC and Utuado, Comerio, Arecibo, Guayama, Ceiba, Vieques, Saint Croix and Saint Thomas CBOCs. The NAICS code 541690 (Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services) is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $16.5 Million. Contractor shall provide all material, labor and supplies (other than the respirator) to conduct qualitative fit testing of any of the following types of respirators in compliance with all applicable regulations including but not limited to 29 CFR 1910.134, OSHA Respirator Standard: disposable particulate respirators (i.e. N95 filtering face piece) and elastomeric half-face and full-face respirators.
