Rescind language in original Sources Sought Notice on Page Two, Paragraph Three, seeking availability and capability of qualified Small Business (SB), and Large Business (LB) classifications relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing from participation in Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN-8) Industry Day. b. The Government is only interested in obtaining information and participation in an Industry Day from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) relative to NAICS code 339115. c. See Updated Notice Below. Veterans Integrated Service Network 8 (VISN-8) is conducting market research to find capable responsible vendors that can provide Prescription Eyeglasses (both dress and safety) and onsite (at VA Medical Centers and associated Clinics) optician services to eligible Veteran Beneficiaries. This Sources Sought is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing. VISN-8 is hosting an Industry Day to discuss this upcoming requirement for Prescription Eyeglasses. The primary objective is to have an open dialog to gain a mutual understanding of what industry can provide and what the Agency can expect from businesses as well as best commercial practices.
