THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors for LEP Phone Interpreter Services for the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville FL. The proposed NAICS 541930 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $8.0 Million. Objective: This Service Contract is an annual full-service contract to assist in communication with LEP veterans or designees when service is needed by calling on the telephone to speak to a clerk or a registered nurse, or during provider communications of health care plans and obtaining consents for treatment. An interpreter service will be provided to callers free of charge if needed or requested. Scope of Work: Monthly service provides a three-way communication (interpreter, veteran/designee & VA employee) over the phone with trained professional interpreters fluent in more than 200 languages. The NF/SG VHS anticipates an estimated 3200 minutes of Language Interpretations Services annually: Spanish Language Interpretation 2300 Minutes annually All Other Languages Interpretation 900 Minutes annually All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to daniel.dove@va.gov. However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered. All interested SDVOSB/VOSB firms must meet all the criteria from the VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7003 Eligibility, in order to be considered for an SDVOSB or VOSB Set-Aside.
