The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08, San Juan, Puerto Rico has a requirement for the inspection, evaluation, and certification of medical gas and vacuum systems of its main hospital, located at San Juan, Puerto Rico, as well as its Ponce and Mayaguez Outpatient clinics. The technician(s) that perform such services shall be ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Inspector certified, and knowledgeable in all pertinent standards (NFPA, ANSI, CGA, OSHA, etc.). These medical gas systems (approximately 1,764 terminals) include, but are not limited to the following: Oxygen, Nitrogen, Nitrous Oxide, and Vacuum. The NAICS code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance), and the PSC is J065 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This is not a solicitation.
