The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, located at 7305 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400, intends to release Solicitation 36C-20-Q-0141 for the purchase of fire extinguisher inspection and repair services that include provide monthly and annual fire extinguishers inspections as well as fire extinguisher maintenance to comply with the latest edition of NFPA 10 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers for the VAMC WPB facilities. Provide comprehensive reporting of the inspection results and verification of compliance with NFPA 10 requirements for inspections and maintenance. Services consist of, but are not limited to: the inspection, testing, preventive maintenance (recharging), and documentation of portable fire extinguishers. All portable fire extinguisher inspections, tests, and maintenance performed under this contract shall comply with the NFPA 10, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers (Most Current edition), Maintenance, and Recharging and The Joint Commission s Environment of Care standard (EC) 02.03.05 Elements of Performance (EP) 15 and 16. All other contract details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which is to be electronically issued, in commercial item format, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13 on or about January 21, 2020. The close date will be on or about February 4, 2020.
