The Department of Veterans Affairs currently leases 9,943 ABOA/net usable square feet (NUSF) in Hillsborough County, Florida for use as Prosthetics Administration & Outpatient Physical Therapy services for the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. The VA intends to stay at the same location and continue occupancy in accordance with (IAW) authority outlined in GSAR 570.404 Succeeding Leases. However, the VA is conducting market research for alternative space and will possibly relocate if potential offerors can show the cost advantages of relocation to the Government. The space shall be Class A medical space on no more than one floor and shall provide 9,943 NUSF of space that can be a modification of existing space. On-site dedicated specifically to the government parking spaces for 63 vehicles is required to include 10 handicapped spaces. Documentation evidencing that the proposed property is outside the 100-year flood plain must be provided. A lease for up to 10 years, with termination rights after the 5-year firm term will be considered. The above requirements must be satisfied in order to submit a response. Responses are due February 20, 2019 at 4:30pm EST.
