The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8-San Juan, Puerto Rico is currently conducting a market survey for potential small business qualified firms capable of providing the necessary labor, materials, supervision, protective clothing, inspections, equipment and reports necessary to perform inside and outside windows and glass surfaces cleaning services for the five story (Basement and Penthouse included) Administrative Building in the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), located at 10 Calle Casia, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921-3201. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561720. Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact. Contractors should provide their size status for the above references NAICS code. (i.e. small, large) and whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), women-owned concern. Standard company brochures will not be considered sufficient response to this Source Sought. Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (see internet site: https://www.sam.gov). A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Specific areas to be addressed in capability packages submitted by respondents are as follows: Expertise in performing cleaning of horizontal, vertical and slopped glass windows, windows frames, side panels, doors of full length or with panes, glass panels in railings and skylight. Expertise in performing cleaning of windows and glass surfaces using scaffold/platform, rappelling or boatswain s chair. (Estimated number of windows and glass surfaces: Approximately 32,741 sf.) Contractor equipment shall conform to all Federal, State, and Local Safety requirements. If you re in GSA, please provide schedule and contract number. It is anticipated that the contract will be a Firm Fixed Price with a Base Period and Four Option Years of 12 months each.
