The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 08, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to enter into a sole source procurement for corrective and preventive maintenance (PM) for ten (10) Cogentix CST 5000 Cystoscopes for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921-3201. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified Acquisition Procedures as implemented in FAR 13.5. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Laborie Medical Technologies Corp., 400 Ave D Ste 10, Williston, VT 05495-7828. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Size Standard is $22 Million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Atlantic Standard Time, Monday, September 16, 2019. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
