The purpose of this Source Sought notice is to determine how many sources are interested in this procurement, the level of experience and qualifications, and whether it might be suitable for a specific small business socioeconomic group set-aside. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan; Puerto Rico is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide a didactic and practical training for the implementation of US Pharmacopoeia Chapter 797 and 800 standards and processes. The requirement has been identified as a services contract that requires the contractor to provide all course materials including certificates of training for sixteen (16) attendees. The anticipated period of performance is limited to a onetime event as scheduled upon agreement with requiring activity. The applicable NAICS code for this procurement is 611430 Professional and Management Development Training. The Product Service Code (PSC) U001 Education/Training-Lectures and the Small Business Size Standard is $11.0 million. Responses to this announcement are due on June 7, 2019 at 2:30 p.m., Atlantic Standard Time and shall include: Company profile and capability statement comparable to the marketing package your company uses in their ordinary course of business. A list of current or previous contracts (within the last 5yrs.) performed, similar to this requirement. Indicate if your company has performed the service as a prime contractor or as a sub-contractor and the work effort performed by your company on the contract. This Sources Sought Notice is to assist the VA in identifying an appropriate acquisition strategy, improve small business access to acquisition information and enhance competition by identifying contracting and subcontracting opportunities. Therefore, is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government; no contract will be awarded from this announcement. A solicitation package is not available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this notice; neither will the Government reimburse any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
