THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8) located at 10 Casia Street, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00921 will be soliciting quotes for cleaning of ducts for the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. The contractor shall provide all labor, associated materials, personnel protective equipment, and any necessary equipment required for the cleaning of all HVAC ducts at the VACHS facilities in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. The HVAC ducts to be cleaned will be for the following buildings: Community Living Center (CLC), Out Patient Addition (OPA), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), South Bed Tower (SBT) and for the Main Building 3rd, 2nd, 1st, and basement floors. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24819Q0805 will be issued on or about May 30, 2019. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated period of performance is August 01, 2019 through July 31, 2020 (or contract award date to 1 year from contract award date) as the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. In accordance with 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 561790 - Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5 million. The classification code is J041 - Maintenance and Repair of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning Equipment. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside.
