Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Jibestream of Arlington, VA, to provide a software update to the current wayfinding & mapping software used by the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Orlando, FL. NCO 8 anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 13.106-1, only one responsible source reasonably available to satisfy the agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 541511 Softare Programming Services, with a small business size standard of $27,500,000.00. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using products and services to maintain Jibstream wayfinding & mapping software, to the Contracting Officer within seven (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements, show experience providing software upgrades and services to Jibstream software, and access to Original Manufacturer Equipment (OEM) software, upgrades, and programming. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Jibstream.
