This pre-solicitation notice is for market research on an anticipated one-time, firm-fixed-price contract to clean the tubes on two Trane water-cooled chillers in the Chiller Plant at the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center, 6439 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC. The work includes lockout/tagout, draining and disassembly, tube cleaning per industry and manufacturer standards, Eddy Current testing and reporting, replacement of automatic tube-brush brushes and condenser basket clips/baskets (up to 50 total), reassembly, operational checks, and a written service report, with the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and debris removal.
