This amendment provides a Government-furnished Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM) Survey dated March 2026 for rooms 6B-102, 6B-103, 6B-104, 5B-102, and 5B-103 in Building 801 at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center – Downtown Division. The survey is for information only to help offerors understand existing conditions and plan abatement activities. It does not change the SOW, specifications, drawings, period of performance, scope, quantities, or firm-fixed-price requirement. Offerors must still verify quantities and conditions under FAR 52.236-3, comply with OSHA/EPA/state and VA abatement requirements, and include all labor, materials, equipment, and disposal. Offerors must acknowledge the amendment by including a signed copy with their quotation.

This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, firm-fixed-price contract for asbestos abatement at the VA Augusta Health Care System, Building 801, Augusta, GA 30901. The contractor must remove and dispose of approximately 215 square feet of asbestos-containing floor tile and associated mastic in specified rooms, including work plan, containment, air monitoring, clearance testing, waste disposal, and restoration. Performance must be completed within 20 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Only SBA-certified SDVOSBs listed in the VetCert database at quotation and award are eligible. Award will be made to the responsible, eligible SDVOSB whose quotation is most advantageous under streamlined comparative evaluation of technical capability, past performance, and price.
