THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to procure Brand Name or Equal PHOTHERA 4800 PRO MAX manufactured by Phothera. This notice serves to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not sources are capable of providing the requested supply. This notice allows potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capability. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7 is requesting responses from qualified business concerns; the qualifying NAICS code for this effort is 3391113 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification(s) (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), Hub zone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, woman owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 339112 and Size Standard of 1,000 employees. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After reviewing the responses to this notice, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this notice are not considered adequate responses to any corresponding solicitation announcement. All interested offerors are requested to respond to this notice but are required to respond to the official solicitation announcement in order to be awarded the contract. Background: The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors who can provide Brand Name or Equal PHOTHERA 4800 PRO MAX phototherapy booth manufactured by Phothera that can meet or exceed the salient characteristics. The vendors must demonstrate the ability to meet all requirements for this notice. Salient Characteristics for Phototherapy Device Dimensions of the device must be at least; Height: 84 (213 cm), Width (doors closed): 41 (104 cm); (doors open: 53 (135 cm), Depth (doors closed): 40 (102 cm); (doors open): 50 (127 cm) Must be equipped with at least 48 high-density, six-foot UV lamps. Lamp options must include Narrowband UVB (NBUVB), UVA or a combination of both. Must have open-top design with enough interior space to accommodate wheelchair access and reduce claustrophobia. Must be equipped with patient-controlled fans. Must be equipped with UV-transmitting lamp shields to prevent patient contact. Shields must work with lamp cooling fans to maintain optimal operating temperature. Must have an adjustable treatment platform for elevating patients for full-body exposure.
