The purpose of the contract is to provide ambulance transportation services to include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) Capabilities for the Charleston VA Medical Center and the immediate surrounding area. The Contractor shall provide the Ralph Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center for a twenty-four (24) hour 7 day a week ambulance service (Basic Life Support and Advance Life Support) for the beneficiaries of the Charleston VAMC. This shall include routine or nonemergency, urgent, and same day services requirements. The current requirement is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) with five (5) Pricing periods.
